Looking to elevate your post-work happy hour? Consider hitting up one of these Nashville-area restaurants offering killer deals on fresh oysters. Enjoy traditional accompaniments like mignonette and horseradish-spiked cocktail sauce, and pair them with your favorite after-five libation. Check out these nine fantastic options to work into your happy hour rotation!

Cafe Roze

Neighborhood: East Nashville
Oyster Happy Hour: Monday through Friday, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

East Nashville’s Cafe Roze offers a weekday happy hour that boasts fresh oysters for $2 each, plus a selection of martinis and sparkling wines for pairing. The intimate bar and dining room fill up quickly, so arrive early to snag a seat if you can! Other happy hour nibbles to round out your order include savory snacks like crudité and crispy fries.

Ellington’s

Neighborhood: Downtown
Oyster Happy Hour: Tuesdays, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Located in the Fairlane Hotel Downtown, Ellington’s showcases some serious Mad Men vibes via the moody midcentury-inspired decor. It regularly offers a rotating selection of oysters on the half-shell with mignonette gelée ($20 for six oysters), but every Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., it offers “2 Buck Shuck” — $2 oysters!

Henrietta Red

Neighborhood: Germantown
Oyster Happy Hour: Tuesday through Sunday, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Henrietta Red offers one of Nashville’s most extensive raw bars, with an oyster list that features a variety from the Gulf to New York to Washington state. Indulge in the daily happy hour (except Mondays, when the restaurant is closed) from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., when you can order from a rotating selection of oysters and drinks, plus occasional happy hour food specials.

Marsh House

Neighborhood: The Gulch
Oyster Happy Hour: Wednesday through Friday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

There’s no question that seafood-centric Marsh House is a go-to for everything from seafood towers to ceviche to … you guessed it, oysters. While we miss the Chambong-and-Oyster combo they used to have, you can still order them separately from the happy hour menu. (Never heard of a Chambong? Think beer bong — but fancier.) At $1.50 per oyster and $5 per Chambong, you can’t go wrong.

Mercado by Butchertown

Neighborhood: Wedgewood-Houston
Oyster Happy Hour: All Day Sunday

Every Sunday, Mercado is offering $1 oysters ALL DAY. We recommend venturing to Mercado’s rooftop, where you’ll find Ramone’s Citrus Club, a vibey lounge with views of the surrounding area. They also offer tacos, tostadas, brisket, smashburgers, and the same beloved chorizo queso and margaritas made popular by Butchertown’s original location in Germantown.

The Restaurant at W Nashville

Neighborhood: The Gulch
Oyster Happy Hour: Friday, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Restaurant at W Nashville offers plenty of tasty food all week long, with highlights such as caviar-topped Maine lobster rolls and beer-can chicken. There are also great happy hour specials throughout the week, including a $7 secret menu for locals on Thursdays. But naturally, we have our sights set on Fridays, when we can score $1.50 oysters and $6 glasses of rosé.

Roze Pony

Neighborhood: Belle Meade
Oyster Happy Hour: Monday through Friday, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Like sister restaurant Cafe Roze, Belle Meade’s neighborhood restaurant, Roze Pony, is a favorite spot for breakfast through dinner. But insiders know to grab a table from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and enjoy delicious $2 oysters. Order some seasonal crudités and fries, and you may decide to skip dinner altogether. Roze Pony also offers some of the prettiest, tastiest cocktails in town. During the happy hour, you can grab an $8 cava or rosé and $10 martinis.

The Southern Steak and Oyster

Neighborhood: Downtown
Oyster Happy Hour: Daily, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Southern is an iconic Nashville restaurant that has long been supplying our fair city with high-quality oysters. Stop by this SoBro destination any day between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to partake in the $25 Shucker’s Choice Dozen oyster special at the bar, along with ever-changing beverage specials such as the Blackberry Mountain Tea and South of Somewhere.

STK Steakhouse

Neighborhood: The Gulch
Happy Hour: Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Located in The Gulch, STK is a modern steakhouse-meets-chic lounge. Swing by during happy hour to enjoy $3 oysters on the half shell and $9 signature cocktail and wine selections. Additionally, you can feast on Wagyu meatballs, short rib quesadillas, and several other excellent happy hour bites.
