The Radical | Asheville, NC

Opened October 2023

Asheville’s River Arts District has a new posh-punk lodging option, The Radical. Hotel 1928 | Waco, TX

Opened November 2023

Celebrity home renovators and Magnolia creators Chip and Joanna Gaines have re-envisioned a historic building in Waco to create Hotel 1928. This 33-room hotel has chic dining and imbibing options, over 6,600 square feet of event space, a rooftop terrace, and a retail shop featuring exclusive Magnolia-designed Hotel 1928 merchandise.

Bridge Creek Inn | Clayton, GA

Opened November 2023

Georgia’s charming small town of Clayton recently welcomed Bridge Creek Inn, a 45-room boutique hotel with a coffee shop, bar, restaurant, indoor and outdoor event spaces, and more. The Wayback | Pigeon Forge, TN

Hotel Lucine | Galveston, TX

Opened November 2023

Hotel Lucine is a colorfully retro courtyard-style property on the Gulf of Mexico in Texas’s up-and-coming coastal town, Galveston. Built as a two-story motel in the early 1960s,  the fully renovated oasis boasts 61 rooms and day-to-night leisure outlets like a posh pool scene, an ocean-view rooftop bar, a “fine-ish” dining restaurant, and a coffee-bar-turns-cocktail-bar.

The Oliver Hotel | Oxford, MS

Outpost Inn | Highlands, NC

Opened January 2024

The newly unveiled Outpost Inn (previously the Wells Hotel) is a short walk from downtown Highlands. Many of the remodeled 14 guest rooms feature luxurious amenities like fireplaces and heated bathroom floors. Origin Hotel | Baton Rouge, LA

Opened January 2024

The Origin Hotel opened in a converted historic 68-year-old building in downtown Baton Rouge. The pet-friendly lifestyle hotel has 87 rooms, a rooftop deck, an all-day Cajun-Creole restaurant, complimentary bike rentals, and more.

Hotel Cleo | Knoxville, TN

Opened February 2024

We’re awestruck that this magical pied-a-terre exists in downtown Knoxville. Hotel Bardo | Savannah, GA

Expected to open February 2024

Savannah’s Historic Mansion on Forsyth Park is becoming Hotel Bardo and one of the South’s most anticipated openings of the year. The Celestine | New Orleans, LA

Expected to open February 2024

Sister to The Chloe, The Celestine is an enchanting new 10-room boutique hotel in New Orleans’s French Quarter. Dripping in European charm, each room has antique furnishings, four-poster beds, and a private balcony overlooking Toulouse Street or the hotel’s tropical courtyard gardens.

The George Hotel | Georgetown, SC

Expected to open March 2024

Joining Georgetown, South Carolina’s historic district, The George is a posh waterfront hotel with 56 rooms and suites. Inspired by the town’s 18th- and 19th-century architecture and coastal landscape, the hotel houses eclectic furnishings, local art, and a seafood-driven restaurant/raw bar. Along the property’s waterfront greenspace, there’s marina access for boaters to dock and guests to adventure. Plus, there’s an outdoor bar with lawn games and boat-watching galore.

Cataloochee Ranch | Maggie Valley, NC

Expected to open March 2024

Mountain cozy meets cowboy chic at Cataloochee Ranch, a new Relais & Châteaux hotel on a mountaintop in the Smokies. The 700-acre property is just 39 miles from Asheville. Mixing classic ranch fun with top-notch accommodations and cuisine, the hotel will offer fishing, crafts, ropes courses, horseback riding, a spa, and more. Guests can book one of the twelve Ranch Cabins now, and the six-suite Lodge will open in March.

Cloudland | Lookout Mountain, GA

Expected to open March 2024

A new Curio by Hilton hotel, Cloudland, will soon join the McLemore Club on picturesque Lookout Mountain. The elegant mountain getaway will feature a world-class spa and fitness center, a cliffside infinity pool, numerous dining options, two world-class 18-hole golf courses, and numerous activities.

The Flat Iron Hotel | Asheville, NC

Expected to open April 2024

Housed in one of Asheville’s first “skyscrapers” built in 1925, The Flat Iron Hotel will soon open with 71 well-stocked rooms, a locally sourced Italian restaurant, a rooftop bar, a coworking space, and a speakeasy.

Printing House | Nashville, TN

Expected to open spring 2024

The Printing House will be an exciting addition to 3rd Avenue in downtown Nashville. Across 11 floors will be 187 rooms, plus a garden terrace bar featuring live music, games, and craft cocktails.

The Flying Fifty | Cullman, AL

Expected to open spring 2024

We love a small-town boutique hotel addition, and The Flying Fifty will pay homage to the group of men of the same name who shaped Cullman’s unique history. (The story is worth a Google!) The hotel has teamed up with local artists and brands like Red Land Cotton to outfit each suite’s linens.

Dew Drop Inn | New Orleans, LA

Expected to open spring 2024

The Dew Drop Inn nurtured some of music’s greatest icons in the 1950s, from Ray Charles to Little Richard. After a restoration preserving the mid-century modern architecture and design, a 17-room boutique hotel — plus a lounge, restaurant, pool, and patio  —  will soon become a NOLA cultural hub again.

Drift | Nashville, TN

Expected to open spring 2024

Drift in East Nashville is taking the space of a 1966-built inn and will be the cool brand’s fourth property. Check-in is seamless, and the concierge is virtual for guests of the 87 multi-room suites. There will also be a pool (and cabana scene), three food and beverage concepts, and a spectacular penthouse suite.

The Dunlin | Kiawah River, SC

Expected to open June 2024

Another Auberge addition, The Dunlin, opens this summer on the banks of the Kiawah River. The 72 cottage-style rooms and suites and 19 residential villas are just a slice of the 2,000-acre resort. Expect tons of outdoorsy and cultural entertainment on the 20 miles of waterfront, the 100-acre working farm, and the 20 miles of nature trails on the property. The main Lodge has a roomy wraparound porch, a cozy library lounge, a cabana-lined pool, a luxurious spa, and much more.
