The Virginia winelands are always a treat to explore, and Keswick Hall tops the luxe lodging lists time and again. The luxury resort’s “Horizon Pool” has a magnificent swim-up infinity ledge that overlooks the Full Cry golf course and a slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dallas, Texas

The Joule‘s eight-foot cantilevered pool extends out over the building’s edge, giving swimmers the sensation of floating suspended over Dallas. In addition to the iconic pool, The Joule also has a eucalyptus sauna, food and bev service, and lots of comfy seating bookable on Resort Pass if you’re not staying on-property.

New Orleans, Louisiana

A darling in the NOLA boutique hotel world, Hotel Saint Vincent leads the hotel pool world, too. Ocean Springs, Mississippi

The Beatnik is a self-described “tiny hotel” in Ocean Springs, Mississippi’s creative district. Its four floating, modern cabins have wet bars, private outdoor showers, and easy access to the cutest little plunge pool. Around the hotel is ample green space, a fire pit, and much to discover in the art- and food-filled small town.

Built in the late 1980s, The Omni Grove Park Inn‘s 43,000-square-foot subterranean spa, deemed The Grotto, might be the most Instagrammable hotel pool on this list. Anyone who’s walked the boardwalk has likely stolen a glance at the hotel’s famous Damien Hirst “Gone But Not Forgotten” sculpture of an encased gold-gilded woolly mammoth skeleton.
