Memphis Account Executive: Sales position, full-time (will consider part-time, 25-30 hours a week, for the right candidate)

  • Title: StyleBlueprint Account Executive
  • Reports to: Director of Sales
  • Location: Must be based in Memphis, TN
  • Compensation: Mostly commission-based on performance, but we offer a guarantee to support you as you grow your book of business. Pay is competitive and in accordance with the market. We are in search of outstanding talent and our comp plan supports this. We are intensely protective of our team culture and will only hire based on culture fit and experience.

THE JOB

The Memphis Account Executive is StyleBlueprint’s ambassador to prospective new clients. The ideal Account Executive is passionate about helping clients succeed, committed to personally succeeding, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and, most importantly, loves Memphis and loves to sell.

This is a sales position that requires a high volume of prospecting!

Requirements and Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in media sales or nonprofit development. We will consider other backgrounds, but this is typically our best path to success. Must be able to prove past success.
  • Experience in all facets of a complete sales cycle, including hunting for, finding, and closing new business.
  • Strong willingness and ability to hunt.
  • Must be comfortable challenging, confronting, and asking difficult questions.
  • Must be comfortable selling to strong personalities.
  • Experience selling digital media or print media is preferred but not required.
  • Must maintain a professional and courteous image at all times.
  • Must sell consultatively – We only sell the right fit for the business.
  • High levels of personal and professional responsibility, ability to quickly internalize coaching and training.
  • Possess both the skill to work within a team as well as independently.
  • Must be comfortable with being held accountable to prospecting metrics and various sales-related key performance indicators.
