Ingredients

  • Β½ cup instant oats
  • ΒΎ cup unsweetened almond milk plus more as desired
  • 2 drops liquid stevia sub 1 teaspoon granulated sugar or coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Tiny pinch salt
  • 3 tbsp roasted hazelnuts whole or roughly chopped

Instructions

  • Combine oats and milk in a microwave-safe bowl. Make sure the bowl is big enough to handle the oats expanding quite a bit. Microwave on high for 2 1⁄2 minutes, stirring every 45 seconds or so, until fluffy and liquid is absorbed. Watch to make sure oatmeal doesn’t bubble over the sides (just stop it and stir).
  • Add stevia, chocolate chips and salt and stir until chocolate is fully melted. If you like a thinner consistency, add more almond milk to taste.
  • Top with chopped hazelnuts and enjoy immediately.
