Homewood is welcoming a new hangout spot, and we’ve got the scoop. Currently under construction, The Edge is a family-friendly gathering area with lots to do and ample space to enjoy the sunshine. The complex features two commercial buildings for retail, fitness, and dining, in addition to over 16,000 square feet of outdoor space, including a covered outdoor food hall, courtyard, and a sprawling green turf space.

Owners JJ and Whitney Thomas envision The Edge hosting live music, sports watch parties, and other community entertainment. The concept was born from their desire for a convenient spot to take their daughter for family outings. Inspired by places like the Pizitz Food Hall and The Big Chill on 30A, they hope to bring a similar vibe to their own neighborhood.
