From picking out the perfect melon to taste-testing local honey, the colorful, produce-filled stalls offer plenty of inspiration. If you’re looking to take advantage of the local farmers’ market scene in the coming months, bookmark this list of options in Davidson and Williamson counties for easy access!

The Nashville Farmers’ Market is a longstanding Music City staple. The open-air farm sheds feature the products of area farmers, ranchers, and creameries — on the weekends, you can find everything from artisanal bread and cheeses to fresh flowers and fruit. You can even shop flea market items and homemade wares or stop by Gardens of Babylon for landscaping supplies and decor.
While there, hit up the Market House for dining options such as Bella Nashville pizza and Succulent Vegan Tacos, or sit for a spell with drinks from Bubble Love or Farm City Coffee. There’s even Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream for dessert!

A community market in historic Sevier Park since 2011, the 12 South Farmers’ Market is a festive mix of food trucks, live music, and fresh produce galore. Located on the corner of 5th and Woodland, the East Nashville Farmers’ Market is a bustling scene with over 40 vendors, including farmers, bakers, meat producers, and artisans. “Our primary season runs until the Tuesday before Thanksgiving so that customers can shop with their favorite local farmers for their big feast,” says Rebecah Boynton, who manages the market.
After Thanksgiving, you can experience the Holiday Hygge Market, where they celebrate all things cozy and handmade to gear you up for Christmas. But in the meantime, check out the incredible assortment of goodies, from fresh trout and gulf shrimp to fresh peaches. So, bring your family, your own bags or basket, and your appetite.

Crievewood United Methodist Church’s parking lot is transformed into a farmers’ market each Thursday from May through September. Farmin’ in the Hall offers the usual selection of local fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, honey, baked goods, and crafts. The area coined “Hip Donelson” — just across the Stones River Greenway from East Nashville — has experienced tremendous growth recently, and nothing celebrates this thriving community quite like the weekly farmers’ market. On Fridays, from May through October, the Hip Donelson Farmers’ Market kicks off the weekend with produce and artisan products from vendors within 150 miles of Donelson.
