Willow Blouse

Long-sleeved blouses such as this one are like gold. The stiff high collar and tailored sleeves make this style ultra-polished, while a relaxed fit makes it a comfortable choice for any occasion. You can easily dress up this top with the right bottoms and accessories or dress it down with jeans and sneakers. Find it at Tuckernuck for $168.

Jenni Kayne Cashmere Crewneck

Jenni Kayne’s cashmere sweaters are a longtime favorite of StyleBlueprint’s Founder & CEO, Liza Graves. While this classic crewneck sweater is a definite investment piece at $394 (regularly priced at $525), it will last you for years without showing the typical signs of pilling. (And next on the list, we’ve included a budget-friendly dupe!)

Silk Button-Down

Named “the perfect silk blouse” by Vogue, this button-down is one of our favorite year-round staples. It hits just below the waist, so it looks great tucked or untucked, depending on the styling, and the mother-of-pearl buttons round out an elevated look. Find it at Ravella for $295.

Bottoms

Wide leg jeans

Gap denim sometimes flies under the radar, but it’s a personal go-to of mine. I always get loads of compliments and questions about my jeans, and people are always shocked to hear they’re from Gap. If you favor a high rise and wide leg like I do, give this pair a try. And if you love them, stock up. They offer short and long options, so they’re friendly for all body types!

Available in 11 options, including a variety of denim washes and embellishments!

High-rise pleated trousers

Another Gap pick, these pleated trousers are wildly popular at the moment. While they’re great for dressed-up occasions, these are also fun and flattering when styled with a vintage tee or cozy sweater and a pair of sneakers. Find them at Gap for $89.95.

Mid-rise barrel pant

If you’ve been curious about the barrel-leg pant trend, this style is a safe introductory option. The fit is relaxed, with a wide leg and a slight taper at the bottom to create a subtle barrel effect — but it’s not exaggerated like other, more extreme designs. Anthropologie house brand Pilcro is a cult favorite for flattering pants, so you’re safe in their hands! Find this style for $148 at Anthropologie.

Outerwear

Leather Blazer

A great blazer is a timeless must-have, but leather outerwear is enjoying a moment right now, and Quince offers a sleek, high-quality leather blazer in three neutral shades for only $200. In many Southern cities, this will be enough as an outer layer. When it’s not, it’s slim-fitting enough to fit under an overcoat!

A more traditional option, this wool blazer from Everlane ($124) is celebrated for its quality construction and chic, slightly oversized fit. Dress it up with a silk cowl neck top and trousers, or dress it down with a favorite tee, denim, and boots or sneakers.

UGG Mini Boot

Our feet are loving the return of the UGG boot to the mainstream. While the tall version ruled the early 2000s, the mini boot ($150) is the stylish pick these days. If you’ve never had a pair … they’re worth the hype for the warmth and comfort.
