Located just outside Nashville in Kingston Springs, TN, Bell’s Reserve is spread across 560+ acres of pristine land, ideal for outdoor adventure. While Bell’s Reserve primarily caters to groups, we’re breaking down all the property’s remarkable offerings, which you can enjoy on your own or as part of a group — from glamping to yoga, breathwork, and off-road driving experiences!

GLAMPING

Individuals and families are invited to take advantage of the property by staying in one of its four unique BRX Trailers. The micro campers are thoughtfully placed on one of the property’s ready-made campsites.

“We’re isolated and surrounded by a 20,000-acre Wildlife Management Area, making guests feel like they’re in the middle of nowhere, so it’s hard to believe you’re within 30 minutes of downtown Nashville,” says Tonya Wnek, Director of Activities and Wellness at Bell’s Reserve. “Our campsites are situated along a couple of secluded streams in the back of the property. You just show up, and the camper is all ready to go.”

After a day full of hiking, kayaking, or biking, you’ll retreat to a camper stocked with all the necessary amenities, including a memory foam bed, fresh linens, air conditioning, a freshwater tank, a small kitchen, and an instant water heater and shower head.

SB TIP: If you need more space, you can add a small rooftop tent to the top of your camper, which sleeps up to three additional people!

WILD WELLNESS ONE-DAY RETREAT

Another great way to soak in the magic of Bell’s Reserve is to embark on its all-day health and wellness experience. Your morning begins with light beverages and snacks at the property’s Welcome Cottage, which includes WiFi and restrooms. From there, you’ll start your journey at the Valley Pavilion, where you’ll set your intentions for the day as you meditate and focus on your breathing.

Next, you will venture into the surrounding forest for “Shinrin-Yoku,” meaning “forest bathing.” During this portion of the experience, you will hike to some of the highest peaks in Bell’s Reserve, and when you reach the top, you’ll find sweeping views of the Harpeth River below.

After some yoga and a delicious lunch, attendees will enjoy a tranquil kayak ride down the Harpeth River. When you reach the end, you’re invited to relax in an individual aerial hammock and enjoy a sound bath among the trees.

The day ends with a brief water ceremony, where you can wade in a natural spring pool as you reflect on the day and all of its activities.

B.Y.O.V. OFF-ROAD ADVENTURES

Whether you’re a first-timer or experienced thrill-seeker, you will enjoy the Bring-Your-Own-Vehicle off-roading experiences offered at Bell’s Reserve. In partnership with the professionals at Morrison’s Outdoor Adventures, Bell’s Reserve helps drivers learn how to best use their four-wheel drive vehicles through a carefully crafted obstacle course.

Classes are held once a month and are three hours in length. The sessions begin with a safety brief and an overview of any off-road technology your vehicle may be equipped with. From there, you’ll venture onto the obstacle course, which includes everything from moguls to ditches, inclines, declines and log crossings. It’s the most fun you’ll have going three miles an hour!

Drivers will then put what they’ve learned to use on the property’s unique trail system, which includes real-world versions of everything experiences on the obstacle course. “Today’s trucks, SUVs, and all-wheel drive vehicles are incredibly capable, yet folks typically never take them off pavement and have no idea how or when to use all those buttons on the dash,” adds Tonya. “You get to explore some really beautiful sections of the property. It’s all done under the watchful eye of our instructor, and there are by-passes around all obstacles to accommodate all comfort levels.”

No matter how you or your group chooses to spend time at Bell’s Reserve, you will be left awestruck, thanks to the up-close views of the Harpeth River and surrounding forestry. “It’s truly just a beautiful property,” says Tonya. “Not many people have access to an outlet like this for experiencing the outdoors, so we’re happy to provide that.”
